Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ThreadSpaceHQ LLC ("ThreadSpace," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses and shares information when you visit threadspacehq.com (the "Site") or contact us. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use our contact form or email us, we collect what you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, company name, phone number and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically. Our website platform, Squarespace, uses cookies and similar technologies to collect basic usage information, such as your IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, pages visited, time on page and the referring website. We use this in aggregate to understand how the Site is used.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and we ask that you not send it through the Site.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
• Respond to your inquiries and follow up about our services.
• Prepare proposals, scoping and Statements of Work you request.
• Operate, secure and improve the Site.
• Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
3. Use of AI tools
ThreadSpace uses artificial intelligence tools, including Claude by Anthropic, to help us work more efficiently, for example to summarize inquiries, draft proposals and documentation, and support Slack implementation work. Information you share with us may be processed by these tools for those purposes.
We use AI tools under terms that do not permit the provider to use our content to train its models. A ThreadSpace team member reviews AI-assisted work before it is delivered to you, and we do not use AI to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you. If you prefer that we not process your information with AI tools, tell us at thomas@threadspacehq.com and we will honor that request.
4. How we share information
We share personal information only as follows:
• Service providers that help us run the business, such as Squarespace (website hosting and analytics), Google Workspace (email and documents) and Anthropic (AI tools). They may use the information only to provide services to us.
• Partners, with your consent. If we propose working with a partner, such as Slack or Salesforce, on your project, we will share your information with them only after you agree.
• Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of ThreadSpace or others.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Cookies
Squarespace sets cookies that are necessary for the Site to function and, if you allow them, cookies for analytics. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through the cookie banner, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect how the Site works.
6. Data retention
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and to manage any resulting business relationship, and generally no longer than three years after our last contact unless a longer period is required by law or by a signed agreement. Squarespace retains analytics data according to its own policies.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls and multi-factor authentication on our business accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on your state of residence, including Texas, California and Colorado, you may have the right to:
• Know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Delete your personal information.
• Opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising or profiling (we do not do these).
• Appeal our decision if we decline your request.
We extend these rights to all U.S. visitors regardless of whether your state law requires it. To make a request, email thomas@threadspacehq.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent where state law allows. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and if you remain unsatisfied you may contact your state attorney general.
9. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. U.S. operations
ThreadSpace operates in and serves clients in the United States. Information collected through the Site is processed and stored in the United States.
